Let us take you on
a musical journey through time:
Imagine that you’ve
just been seated at your table, right up front, at Caesar’s Palace. The entire room is filled to capacity and
everyone is anxiously awaiting the start of the show. Tonight’s performances will include a rare combination of
artists, never seen together on the same stage. The house lights dim, the band strikes up the intro and now
you’re dazzled by some of the greatest Big Band, Swing and Ballroom hits of
all-time featuring Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennet, Glenn Miller and Duke Ellington!
If you’ll take a
few minutes you might remember when cars were really HOT and COOL at the same
time. How about when you could understand the words to a song, a time when you
could hang out with all the really Hip Cats at your favorite burger joint while
listening to some really great tunes with those awesome vocal harmonies and
that syncopated finger popping, to include the Diamonds, The Rays, Shep &
The Limelights and the Earls. You will
experience the musical sensations of an outstanding era, where hit after hit
came from the magic of Motown’s artists like
The 4 Tops, The Temptations, The Supremes and Little Stevie Wonder. Take a walk down memory lane as you listen
to the fabulous songs of the late 50’s and early 60’s from the Teen Idols of
this outstanding era, Frankie Avalon, Paul Anka, Dion, Sue Thompson and Little
Peggy March. Remember the cities of Memphis, Nashville, Macon, Atlanta,
Philadelphia, New York and Washington that provided so many great Soul hits
outside of the Motown umbrella from Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Ivory Joe
Hunter and Peaches & Herbb? How
about all of those great New Orleans Dixieland & Blues artists that have
been imortalized in the “Big Easy”, Pete Fountain, Fats Domino, Al Hirt and
Doctor John?
It’s Saturday night and you’re ready to
boogie. Stomp your feet and clap your
hands to the great Classic Rock hits of the 1970's from CCR, BTO, Grand Funk
Railroad or you’re heading for
the disco. You’ve just slipped into
your purple, polyester bellbottoms, your funky platform shoes and a skintight
purple, flamed spandex shirt and you’ve just picked-out your Afro! Maybe you’re wearing a really hot silver
sequenced top with a purple & silver ankle length skirt, that’s split almost
all the way up to your waist and of course you’ve got on your funky 5” platform
heels. Wow, you’d better be ready for
some really hot tunes by Donna Summer, Gloria Gaynor, The Village People and so
many, many more!
